LR3 - Cat Sensor Sensitivity (bolt adjustment)

Hi All,

I have been having some intermittent problems with my Litter Robot 3 (LR3CI129810) and decided to chnage the sensor last night.

Upon removing the bolt with the spring, I wasnt quote sure about how tight to do the bolt. I saw on the video on youtube some guidance about whether it was a grey or a black foot but it didnt make any sense to me.

Is there any sensitivity adjustment with the cat sensor and the bolt? How does the spring bolt and sensor work? How tighy should the bolt be?

Many thanks,

Tom

Hello @Tking2022 ,

Welcome back to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

The bolt shouldn’t be too tight, you just need to test the robot with your cat after the replacement of the sensor to check if the robot detects the cat properly.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Sincerely,
