Low RPM DC motor and appropriate controller

Hi,

I’m looking for a DC motor and controller that can provide me with a controlled rotational speed of somewhere around 0.15 RPM. Part numbers RB-Sct-812 and RB-Sct-796 look promising, however they do not specify the lower RPM limit. Would either of these suit my need? If so, what controller would you recommend I use? If not, can you recommend a motor and controller that will?

Hi Steve,

Those motors are indeed not rated for lowest speed.
If your setup accept it our suggestion would be the 6RPM motor combined to the Worm system. This system give you a 30:1 ratio (6RPM / 30 = 0.2RPM at full 12V)
