LoRaWAN compass

RobotShop stocks a Dragino LoRaWAN GPS Tracker with accelerometer.
I am looking for a similar device (LoRaWAN) that senses its magnetic direction - could be applied to robots to figure out which way they are facing - as it happens, my desired application is a little different but I wonder if anyone knows of such a device?

Hello @Janc and welcome to the RobotShop community,

I’m guessing you are referring to this product:

This GPS tracker includes an MPU9250 which is a 9-axis IMU (3-axis MEMS gyroscope/3-axis MEMS accelerometer/3-axis MEMS magnetometer) which can be used to sense magnetic direction.

Thank you for the information, Geraldine.
Is there a European 868 MHz version of this product ideally available in the UK?

Jan.

Yes, you can find it on RobotShop’s UK site:

Unfortunately, it is out of stock at the moment but the approximate arrival date is 2020-06-30.

Thank you again.
I will purchase this item as soon as it is back in stock.
