Looking to buy a robot mower and hardwood floor cleaner

I’m looking at buying my first robot mower, and have a gated back yard for my dog. My question is this, is there a mower out there that allows me to mow the back yard at night, and then i can mow the front yard during the day when i’m home and able to open up the gate? I guess it would come down to software for the mower to program the schedule like that…
Also, what’s there to stop a thief from coming up and just taking it? Other than the off chance he/she gets their fingers sliced up from picking up a lawnmower…

ALSO, i’m looking to buy a floor cleaning robot. What’s the difference between a floor cleaner, and a robot vacuum? I have a black lab that constantly sheds, plus two younger children that make messes like crazy. I guess i’m asking is would
robotshop.com/en/irobot-bra … radle.html
or
a roomba like : robotshop.com/en/irobot-roo … robot.html
do the trick to clean hard wood floors and ceramic tiles - no carpets. As my dog and kids track in mud and dirt that can only be removed by mopping, would the braava do the trick on cleaning my hardwood/ceramic floors, or would i need both a robo vacuum and a robo mop to do the job?
And also, is the robot intelligent enough not to fall down a set of stairs or would that have to be programmed in somehow?

Thanks for everything!

Hey!

1- What are the dimensions of your lawn exactly? We do sell Robomow Lawn mowers, which support multi-zones lawn;
You can use the perimeter wire to setup zones on your lawn, which the Robomow will mow independently.

2- The Braava is like using a Swiffer to clean your floors. If you have a lot of hair and dust, it is somewhat limited.
Usually, customers with pets are opting for a robot vacuum, which would clean all the hair, dust, etc from their floors.
You could then choose to purchase a Braava to finish cleaning the floors, or do the swiffer by yourself.
