Looking to build my first Robotic arm!

Hello everyone, as the title suggests I am looking to build my first arm, I have decided against buying one of the AL5 arm kits because I have been rather taken aback by this little feller on examples page of the website. Building him from scratch looks cheaper than the AL5 arms too, Ill also be more inclined to take it apart for new projects later on than dismantle a specialised kit.

Unfortunately I cannot see a parts list for it so I have had to try and put together a list myself from what I can see in the image, please can anyone correct me if I have missed out any of the pieces.
I have not included the servo’s for now as I plan to buy these form a supplier in the UK, I am open to suggestions for the best servo’s to use though.

1/ 3x Long “C” Servo Bracket with Ball Bearings
2/ 4x Multi-Purpose Servo Bracket
3/ Nylon Snap Rivet Fasteners
4/ 1x Little Grip Kit
5/ 1x “L” Connector Bracket

I also plan to use a base rotate for an extra degree of motion otherwise the little fella would be fairly limited in what he could do. hopefully this will be the first little step towards something much larger! please let me know what you think.

Take a look at the practical example at the bottom of this page under “What to Buy”:

Note that this arm cannot lift much weight since the servos in the shoulder and elbow are not very powerful.

Many thanks for that, It looks like I managed to find all the correct pieces for it after all.

As for the servo’s can I simply exchange the existing ones for a higher torque variant? I can’t see any reason why not to myself unless there are special considerations I’m unaware of.
