Looking for two robotic arms to assembly small plastic device

I saw robotic arms from strobotics.com but they are pretty expensive.

The robotic arms need to move about 8-10 inches (5 axis seems like it will work), wrist swivel, the gripper needs to be about 1.5" wide. The pieces that the gripper will pick up are 1oz (maximum weight). And it just needs to be precise, with accurate repeatability.

The reason for two arms would be to hold one piece, while lining it up another piece, and moving it to a location where another device will push a 1.25" pin into place.

What kind of arm do you recommend?

I appreciate any help.

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. The arm you indicate retails for about $10,000. The Al5 series robotic arms may just do it for you. You can add to the gripper, although it’s quite close to your requirement. The precision at the tip should be several millimeters. Tighten all the joints well.
