Does anybody know how much a used Lyncmotion C3h-r is going for?
How much is a used one?
There isn’t a set price for a used CH3-R. You can check other posts in the Trading Post forum and see if anyone is offering one, but if not you’re pretty much out of luck, sorry. Lynxmotion does not sell any used robots, if that’s what you’re asking.
Prolly in the $300-$500 price range, depends on whats included.
Thanks know anyone who is selling?
I am trying to sell my CH3-R (all black). I mostly assembled it, but I needed one or two more servo horns to complete it. It would come with 18 servos plus the chassis. The servos are metal gear and pretty strong, got them for about $14 each I think. I also have a SSC-32 if you are interested. I have not even run it, but I did test all of the servos. I noticed that Lynxmotion no longer sells just the chassis like they did when I ordered it about 2 years ago.
chassis with servos: $360
SSC-32 (new but tested): $30
So I guess all you would need then is a bot board, controller, and batteries. I had planned on making an autonomous hex, but never got around to it. It sucks too, I spent a lot of time getting the inverse kinematics functions all written in C. If you are interested PM me and I can send a copy.
You might want to mention the servo model number.
We do sell the CH3-R chassis by itself. It’s aluminum now.
I should have said chassis + legs, not just chassis. I mistakenly thought that I got it all together but I must have ordered the chassis and legs separate. I do have the black aluminum one with the black lexan legs. Also the battery/switch harness. They were cheap servos. I have to dig out the kit and get the numbers, I am at work atm
. The HXT servos is what I suspect I have. They are strong but a little noisy.
Current new cost:
chassis (HBKR-BLK): $40
3 leg pairs (3DOFC-BLK): $210
SSC-32 $40
18 Servos: HXT 10kg Servo (metal gear) 55g / 10kg / .16sec: $144
total: $434
I am willing to part with everything for $340 shipped (USA only) if you are interested. Maybe then I could get myself a rover!
The first price was me getting the servos wrong in my head, or they got cheaper since. As much as I hate paypal, I would probably use that. Or maybe Amazon?
I might be able to buy this from you in the next months, i stress the might, i am hoping for a paid internship that i could get, if so i will buy the robot from you. Do you plan on moving the robot in the near future?
I will wait for you to let me know. I am in no rush. Got LOTS of other things to do before my next project. Good luck on the internship! What area are you in?
New York City hard to get a job when you are 14, But i manage
Well as long as your grades are good and you put out a lot of apps and get aggressive you have a good chance. Find something that makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd. My company had interviewed a college grad once that had perfect scores on the SAT and the subject tests, but you could not have a conversation with the guy. Having good conversation skills and projects to show off (bring with you even) helps a lot. A lot depends on the interviewer. Some care more about real skill, some care more if you look good on paper. Even if you are not interested in a company you interview at it is good practice for the next interviews.
Good Luck!
Thanks!
Could you post some pictures?
