There is another name for a robotic arm end effector that was created by a science fiction writer in the mid to late 20th century. I cannot think of it for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Don’t know anything specific from a Si-Fi writer, so just throwing words out there: gripper / pincer / clamp…
