Im looking for a robot that can be programmed to do a repeatable up and down movement. The simpler the better.
I’m trying to automate the motion that will move my babies bouncer chair:

A nice option would be a linear actuator and you could use a microcontroller to program a sequence, and you might also need a relay.
I’m not sure how much torque you’ll need, but probably not that much, so maybe pay more attention to the speed, stroke and control options.

Sadly, no.
But perhaps you could try with a servo and a digital programmer instead, that could be easier to set up.
