I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me… I'm looking for a High Torque 12V DC Motor. I've been unable to find one that meets advertised torque values.
Important considerations:
#1. 12V DC
#2. 120 RPM or greater
#3. Body diameter approximately 25mm
#4. Shaft diameter 4mm
#5. Torque (Sustained) >4kgf-cm; (Peak) >8kgf-cm
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
ServoCity (Or Robotshop) should have some.
There is the ServoCity motors. These motors are quit good and I use them a a couple of bots at the moment.
re: 12V Motors
I use the Lynxmotion GHM-13’s…with 16.7 kg/cm stall torque, 152 RPM. They also make another model that is shorter, lighter, cheaper, with around 120RPM, with about half the torque.
I think these might have
I think these might have worked, if the outside diameter wasn’t so large, our Max is 26 cm and these are 37 cm. :( I tried going to the Lynxmotion website for the last couple days but it appears to be down.
26 cm motors
26cm is a huge motor!!
CORRECTION
I meant to say or Max is 26 mm in diameter
re: Specs
Sorry DBass…I didn’t check all your other specs. Lynxmotion has a lot of motors, but I don’t think they have anything like that, sounds like an unlikely combination of specs to find in a motor if we didn’t have google to search the world. Good luck!
I’d go with jiffyclock’s
I’d go with jiffyclock’s suggestion. And if 116 RPM isn’t good enough for you, they have a whole range. The 142 RPM in that style should work well with your needs.
