Looking for a base (plate?) for the Lynxmotion SES-V2 Robotic Arm (4 DoF)

I am purchasing a few of the Lynxmotion SES-V2 Robotic Arm (4 DoF)
Is there a base plate or something that can be purchased to attach the arm base to so that it doesn’t easily fall over?
It won’t be lifting much weight obviously but at the moment it will fall over if you extend the arm out fully.
I have one of the arms already and cut a chip board base and used a couple of screws. That does the job but I would prefer if there was a proper base to use with my class.
Thanks

Hi @oc

Welcome to the RobotShop community…!

We do not have any based for the SES-V2 Robotic Arm (4 DoF) but most people just bolt it to a surface, a board or something.
You definitely need to do that because it will tip over just with it’s own weight.

Do you have access to a 3D Printer ?
Making a base should be quite easy and split in puzzle pieces so it can be printed on a smaller size printer.

All the best,
