Long Range FPV

Greetings,

Need some help here. We are working on a project that will require Long range FPV. What I need is the ability to switch between up to 6 cameras onboard, with telemetry. We would like to have three monitors working from about 3 miles away. and work with a 2.4 radio system. The system does not need to interface with my 2.4 system, but I understand that there can sometimes be interference, and we want the FPV to play nice. So this can be a completely separate system. We are not FPV savvy, typically we stick to RC systems only. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, part numbers or directing me to a complete setup that already exists would be great. Please let me know what other info you may need. Thank you

Im prepared for a thorough verbal bashing for my lack of knowledge in this arena.

Hi JD,

In fact, we do not think we have something that will work for you at RobotShop.
You would need a system that trigger between the various camera locally and use only one Transmitter. Those transmitter are usually on 5.8ghz which do not interfere with 2.4ghz.

I apologize for not responding to the forum, thank you for the reply. Is this because we need to have 6 cameras working together? If I were to ask about a system that has the ability to switch between 3 cameras / same scenario, do you think Robot Shop would have something for us? Thank you

Unfortunately we do not have something compatible with FPV systems, even for only two cameras.
One could use the ArduCam board but you need a Raspberry Pi but this is not compatible with FPV analog signal systems
