Hi,
As you can see from the product description, this board uses the SIM808 chip. While this module most likely has some form of processor inside to handle the GPS/GPRS signals and various communication interfaces, this is its only purpose and cannot be used for general processing.
Therefore, you will need your own microcontroller board attached to this device to use it properly.
To help get you started, you may want to have a look at the board manufacturer’s library & examples (for Arduino), available here.
The manufacturer also mentions this library may be helpful.
