I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.
Description:
I bought a SANBOT > And I have accidentally completely locked myself out of the robot And I am hoping anyone can show me a way to reset the password on the robot.
I am not computer illiterate but I am challenged with the operation of this robot?
I finally figured out how to register the robot online through the Q link app. However I am still unable to figure out how To get into some of the advanced settings ran off the cloud?
That aside - I have now somehow locked myself completely completely out of the robot. I was Exploring the options provided on the touchscreen of the robot and somehow set a password that I have no idea what it is ? or the original I set in the Q link app.
When I somehow set up the password and locked myself out - I was logged in to a Wi-Fi network I no longer have access to. So now the Q link app will not not even see the robot online.
When I touch the robots screen it now gives me a pop up with administrator password.
So I cannot log inThrough the robot’s touch screen either.
I unhooked It’s battery hoping that would reset the system but it did not.
I am completely at a loss on on how to reset the administrative password and I cannot figure out how to reset it or get it back online.
Selecting the reset password option only displays the robot ID And since it doesn’t have an Internet connection anymore I’m not sure if the on screen option is working or not. But it seems it does not work? It only displays the robots ID code I believe…
any advise to me on how to reset the robot Password if the robot cannot access the Internet would be greatly appreciated

Hey Thanks allot for the quick response and escalating the issue… It surely needed to be and would have saved a lot of time – but – you know what – Sanbot let me back in to the main menu using the default PW. I don’t know why? it would not for days and days and days - but just about an hour ago after another night of typing on the screen - it worked… I tried that PW 100 times and nothing - then i guess after clicking here clicking there pushing this button and pulling that cord something gave way - AND I AM BACK IN… go figure. Hi, Nice to hear that you got back into your Sanbot, I can only imagine how frustrating and worrying that must have been, they are not cheap. I have a Sanbot Elf and I wondered if you might be kind enough to get back to me with any help you could offer me. I would like my robot to follow me, which Sanbot says it should but mine just says “yes master) and then does nothing, also I can not get facial recognition to work. These two functions were the main reason I bought my Sanbot Elf so it is frustrating. Any help from anyone on this forum would be gratefully received. I am in the UK. thank, Andy
Hi, Thank you for your reply, the distributor in which I bought the robot from is no longer trading. I was hoping some body on here could giver me some advise on how to get my Sanbot Elf to follow me and recognise faces. Any help gratefully received. Andy
