hi there
i am making a project for my 3rd year mechanical engineering development project, it is a race kart weight distribution calculater. i am planning on using 4 X 200kg button load cells with a phidgetbridge wheatstone bridge sensor interface. my questions are::confused:

  1. Is programming of this sensor interface difficult as my only programming experience is with PLC’s?
  2. Is there software available on this site to run the interface with load cells for calibration and calculations?
  3. is there any other hardware needed to use the load cells or does the interface do all of my amplification and conversions??

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. Phidgets is well known for the fact that they have a lot of sample code available for all their products. We are confident you will find one which you are comfortable with. There is a sample interface available for the Phidgets Wheatstone bridge which you will find on the manufacturer’s website. The only item you will need is a good USB cable.
