I am looking to purchase a bending load cell for a university research project. I was hoping you might be able to recommend products from your catalog.
The load cell will be used to measure the thrust of small rocket thrusters, which will be attached to the load cell. The thrusters will have an expected maximum thrust of 2 N, or 200g. The thruster’s themselves may weigh up to 500 g.
Ultimately, we hope to find a load cell and ADC/amplifier system with an output resolution of 0.001 N or 0.1 g. The load cell system will be kept at a relatively constant temperature. The accuracy of the load measurement is very important as we wish to characterize the thrust.
If an ADC is offered, we’d hope to have a minimum scan rate of 80 Hz, to allow us to measure the transient response of the thruster.
Do you have any load cell and amplifier/ADC systems in your catalogue that you can recommend for our project?
