LitterBot stopped working

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

I’ve had my litterbot for 4.5 years, replaced the ‘pinchers’ twice and clean once every 3 months. It’s just given up the ghost! It cycles but needs to be turned on and off until it’s reached it’s full cycle (takes about 10 mins whilst you manually do this)

I had a look at buying a new one but saw this is supposed to last for longer than 4 years and the cost is just so high for another!

Any suggestions welcome or recommendations on somewhere I can get this fixed (that costs less than £700!!)

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Thanks Ebram! Will try and get a photo tomorrow however you’re probably right. Do you know how I can get them replaced?

Thank you Ebram, photos attached :relaxed:

We also have this weird cable that doesn’t go anywhere. I think it’s always been like this but thought I’d check!

Hi, does anyone. Know if I need to replace these??

Hello @Lollypop222,

Thank you for your reply.

The Anti-Pinch pins aren’t very damaged so they don’t need to be replaced.

We haven’t received pictures of the other 2 sets of pins (bonnet contact pins and base contact pins) so please send us pictures of them to check their status.

The wires at the bottom of the robot are left there in case you order the backup battery and connect it to the robot through these wires.

Awaiting your reply.

Thanks Ebram. Where are the other pins on the bonnet and base?

Hello @Lollypop222,

Thank you for your reply.

The pins are located on the left side of the robot.
