Litter Robot Open Air III stuck

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Litter Robot Open Air III. Robot is stuck in the cleaning position (rubber part up), and it does not rotate back. I have disassemble the machine (remove drum and put back), unplugged it, switched it off/on and nothing works. Blue light is blinking on a quicker manner.

Video available if needed

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hello @tururera,

Thank you for your reply.

We have noticed that the internal shield is still inside your globe and not in the correct position.

It has been determined by the manufacturer that the internal shield is no longer a necessary part of the robot and just causes issues to the customers so it has been replaced with a part called the beige plug.

Since you are no longer under the warranty, you can order the beige plug from this link:

How to install it:

On the back of the globe, there’s a black key with a screw in the center of it, you need to unscrew it then pull the shield out of the globe.

After that, you need to put the beige plug in the same place where the shield was installed then tie back the screw into the plug from the other side.

We have also noticed that the blue light was blinking so this might be related to a defective DFI sensor so if after replacing the plug you still had this blue blinking light, you would need to replace the DFI sensor.

You can order it from this link:

This video will show you how to replace it:

Let us know if you needed further assistance.

Have a lovely evening, stay safe.

Sincerely,
