Litter Robot III blue light flashing

Hi there.

You replaced the base unit for my robot litter as it stopped working last year. This unit has stopped working only this time the blue light is flashing despite the litter draw being clean and the DFI being clean and when I press the reset button the yellow button flashes quickly before it returns to the blue flashing light.

I have followed all of your instructions including cleaning the drawers and the DFI sensor. I think the DFI is no longer working so can you send me a replacement DFI rather than me return the base unit as it was a bit of a nightmare to get the replacement.

Hi @A_Morgan,

If the yellow light is blinking twice per second:
The Anti-Pinch safety feature is two pins connected to the motherboard that must touch each other continuously.
If they are separated, you will have an alarm(yellow blinking light). The Anti-Pinch safety is located in the top back left of the Litter-Robot base. You will need to unplug the unit, remove the bonnet, the globe and the drawer.

It is ‘‘Two Metal’’ pin. With a flashlight, you should be able to see if they are touching each other or not. If they are not touching each other, try to re-position it with a flat screwdriver by pushing them upwards.

Hiya.

Have done this. They are touching but the light is still flashing.

Hi @A_Morgan,

Thank you for your reply.

In this case we recommend replacing DFI sensor. Are you still in warranty?
