Litter Robot Help

Hello, I believe our sensor needs to be replaced. Our landlord was having new windows installed and they tripped the breakers. Since then, our litter robot has not worked correctly. It flashes blue and when I press reset, it flashes yellow quickly. I have made sure the metal sensors are touching, cleaned the entire machine, tried to reset by holding down the power button. The nightlight is also flashes whenever the room is dark.

Please advise. I can’t seem to find our order email to provide the order number.

Hello @Krwise86 ,

Welcome to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Please provide us with the email address, phone number, or username that was used to order the robot to help you locate the order number.

As for the issue with the blue light:

Have you tried to clean the 2 green circuit boards of the DFI sensor with isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip to remove any rust or dust from them?

As for the nightlight issue:

Please remove the power from the robot and unclip the bonnet. Inside the bonnet, you will see 2 wires connected to a small circuit. Make sure the wires are well connected to the circuit.

If that is working fine, then the problem is probably with the connection between the base and the bonnet. Have a look at this video: Litter-Robot 3 Stops Mid-Cycle - YouTube

Also, there are two connection metal pins between the base and bonnet. Some customers use WD-40 to clean them to make better contact:

Awaiting your reply.

The email should be [email protected].

The issue started when the breakers for the house, the electrical fuses, were tripped and the electricity to the house was suddenly turned off. It has not worked since. I think it damaged or shorted some part of the electrical system in the litter robot. We have only had the machine for maybe six months so there should not be any rust dust that I can think of.

Hello @Krwise86 ,

Thank you for your reply.

The email didn’t show any orders related to it, maybe you used a different or older one?

Can you provide us with the account name or phone number used to order the robot?

According to the issues you are having, we would recommend sending the robot for repair.

We first need to confirm that the robot is still under warranty.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

The only other email we have is my husbands, [email protected]. The phone number might be mine +49 15117664962.

We can send it in if necessary.

Hello @Krwise86 .

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, this is the email used for the order.

You can keep this order number: 1038834 for future issues.

The robot is indeed under warranty.

In this case, we recommend sending the robot to our repair center for inspection and repair.

You will need to send us the base, the bonnet, and the power supply of the robot. No need to ship the drawer and the globe.

You can place the globe over the waste drawer and use them as a stationary litter box until the rest of the robot gets back to you.

We suggest a box dimension of 24 “wide x 18” deep x 24 "high. The Bonnet should be put in the box upside down on top of the litter base.

If you wish to proceed with the repair process, please provide us with the following:

  • Shipping address.
  • Phone number.
  • Serial number located on the back of the robot.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,
