Litter robot blue and yellow light flashing

Hi.
My litter robot 3 suddenly stoped working.
Blue light is flashing and waste bin is empty.

When pressing reset button, blue flashing light is changing to yellow fast fleshing.

Pressing reset again will bring blue flashing light again.

Was trying to power off a unit for a while, as well as cleaning it. Nothing helps.

Thanks for help in advance

Hello @zholtoeytko,

Welcome back to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Please provide us with your order number or a copy of the invoice.

This issue is related to the DFI sensor and Anti-Pinch pins.

You need to clean the 2 green circuit boards of the DFI sensor with isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip to remove any rust or dust from the tiny pins of the chips located on these boards.

Then clean the Anti-Pinch pins with WD-40 and sandpaper.

Here’s a video to help you locate these parts:

If you find this too complicated for you, you can send us the robot for repair.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

HI @Ebram, I’m having the same issue again.
Unfortunately, same trick with disassembling and cleaning didn’t work for me at this time.
Do you have any other suggestions to try before ordering replacement parts?

Hello @zholtoeytko,

Welcome back to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Unfortunately, if the cleaning of the sensor didn’t solve the problem, you will have to replace it.

We recommend replacing the 3 sets of pins or at least ordering them and keeping them with you in case one of them needed to be replaced in the near future.

This way you can avoid paying the shipping on such small parts.

If you wish to order these parts, please confirm and we’ll help you place your order.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

Hi,
Yes, please help me to order those parts.
I’m also was thinking to get a WiFi motherboard. As far as I understand, it will fit my 3rd gen robot, right?

PS: tried cleaning again. Blue light doesn’t come anymore, just yellow light flashing, that’s all. Did I do something wrong?

Thanks

Update,
I finally made it working, but don’t know for how long:(

So I’ll need parts anyway for feature use.
