About a month ago our litter robot started having it’s lights blinking all the time as per the manual excerpt below. This happened after we moved it from one location to the other in our house. The problem persists even after cleaning it and moving it around. It functions normally otherwise. I purchased this product last fall from robotshop.
Can this problem be fixed?
Manual Excerpt
Manual: All lights on the Control Panel are blinking once per
second.
If the Globe cannot find the home position, all three
lights on the Control Panel will blink at a rate of
once per second. Make sure the Litter-Robot is on a
level surface. If the condition persists, please
contact Customer Service.
Thanks,
Michelle
Thanks, Julie.
I’ve tried all of these things…several times over… I will now submit to the support center as you suggested.
Thanks,
Michelle
Welcome to the RobotShop forum mpopovits!
If the Litter-Robot started having this problem after you moved it, is it possible that its new location was not a flat surface?
When this problem happens we suggest the customer to do the following:
• Turn off the unit and unplug the power
cord
• Verify the unit for any obstruction
• Reposition the Globe in the home position on a level surface
• Plug the power cord back in and turn the
unit on. The Litter-Robot performs an
initialization cycle.
It sounds like this problem has been persisting therefore, it is possible that your litter-robot is defective. In your case we suggest that you contact us via our online support center so that we may arrange for an exchange or repair under warranty.
