Litter Robot 4 won't turn on

I deep cleaned my Litter Robot 4 and now it won’t power on. The outlet it plugs into works (I tested it with a lamp), I’ve ensured the ac adapter is plugged in all the way. I didnt do anything I havent done every 4 months or so to ensure it is clean so I’m not sure why it won’t turn on.

I tried a hard reset. Nothing is working.

Please help :frowning:

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot 4

Please check the area between the buttons and let us know if it’s heating up quickly when you try to turn the robot on or not.

Also, please make sure that you are still using the original power adapter as it might have been mixed up with another device.

It is not warming up, and it is the original power supply.
If I remove the bonnet the lights flash, but it won’t let me reset the scale or anything like that. It just sort of freezes and if I turn it off it won’t turn back on.

We were discussing your issue with the repair department.

Here’s their reply:

Have the cable that plugs into the base of the Litter-Robot checked by moving it to see if it makes the robot work or not. Perhaps a poor connection.

I have tried that and even checked to make sure the cables inside were all connected and secured. It is still doing the same thing.

I am still waiting for further information. I seem to have had nothing but issues with this litter box, and now that it’s not working at all is incredibly frustrating since I got it for a Christmas present last year.

After discussing the issue with the manufacturer, they have recommended replacing the main circuit board.

Since your warranty has just expired a couple of weeks ago, we will send you the board for free one last time.

However, you’ll need to pay for the shipping.

Is the replacement the same on the Litter Robot 3 as the 4 since I have the Litter Robot 4.
