I have done everything I can think of to get this machine working again. It has always been a little unreliable but recently has begun flashing the blue yellow red light sequence - making it useless. I wish I had returned it the first time it gave me issues but instead I’ve been dealing with occasional malfunctions for over 3 years.
My hall sensor is fine - if I start the globe slightly rotated towards the dump position it completes the cycle fully and displays the blue light of happiness… but only on the first cycle (my magnets are good. This also means my hall sensors / wiring harness is likely good, and I assume my pinch sensors are fine).
Pic of globe rotated where it works correctly onr cycle
Once the globe repositions at the end of the first cycle I get the error again on any following cycles.
I took the key off and cleaned around it. I cleaned the track. All my slider tabs are in place. The stripping along the base is all secure but one side is worn. The machine powers on and off as it should. I took the gear box apart and relubricated each gear.
I still can’t get it to complete the full turn when dumping. It seems to stop one or two cogs short meaning the magnet never passes the sensor and instead triggers the blue yellow red dump position error. The extra noise in the back ground is my washing machine running. There are no weird noises that occur as the machine stops and reverses.
How do I determine the issue from here. I am guessing either the power supply isn’t working fully or maybe circuit board. The power supply is the original one and is plugged directly in to the wall.
I initially thought the motor might be weak but the distance the globe turns does not change when the machine is run empty or with litter in it. I saw mention to time the cycle and it seems to run the right length of time.
I tried to attach the file of it running a full cycle but its too big.
