Hi @Christos93

Please check also anti-pinch pins.

The Anti-Pinch safety feature is two pins connected to the motherboard that must touch each other continuously.
If they are separated, you will have an alarm(yellow blinking light). The Anti-Pinch safety is located in the top back left of the Litter-Robot base. You will need to unplug the unit, remove the bonnet, the globe and the drawer.

It is ‘‘Two Metal’’ pin. With a flashlight, you should be able to see if they are touching each other or not. If they are not touching each other, try to re-position it with a flat screwdriver by pushing them upwards.

This video can help you locate the pins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJkQTXxkXXA

Hello ,

I followed the steps as recommended in the video , after I put together the litterbox i pressed to switch on and had the same issue , i left it as it was ( fast yellow light blink) overnight and the day after was suddenly ok.

I satrted to do some test cycles and from the first cycle the globe did not stop turning when it was supposed to in order to have a complete healthy cycle , instead it cycled 2-3 seconds further than needed before it started the qounter cycling wich also didnd stop at the correct spot , as a result the globe to be tilted and all the lights to blink in a row from blue to red .

I thought that the globe had somehow derailed, so i put it in the right possition ensurring there was no wet litter or any derbis in the litter holder . After that i installed the globe and the bonet i hit start and i had no reset cycle , only a solid blue light .

it has been a week since and the globe still mismaches the place it supposed to stop after every single cycle , so i have to go and press reset and put the globe on its original possition every time .

i hope my description is detailed enough for you to recognise te source of the problem and give me some advice .

Are you using original power supply?

Did you maybe disassemble the globe (take it apart)?

This generally looks like an issue with Hall-effect sensor and possibly DFI sensor.

I’m using the original power supply, I did nothing more than the video you sent me .

We can send you new sensor.

You can install these by using these instructions:

https://community.robotshop.com/blog/show/litter-robot-iii-the-hall-effect-sensor

Is that OK for you?

Is there any extra cost for the sensor or shipping ?

There shouldn’t be, since you are still in manufacturer’s warranty.

Ok , please send me the spare parts then .

Hello again , its been nearly a month and my problem is yet to be solved as i am expecting you to send me the spare parts. Is there any update for that , a voucher maybe ?

Hi @Christos93. Sorry for the delay.

We will transfer this to internal support.

You will receive and email in a few minutes to confirm your shipping address.

Thank you.
