Hello @pacrutchet,

Welcome to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Please provide us with your order number or a copy of the invoice.

Does the yellow light blink slowly when this issue occurs?

We will also need to see the 3 pairs of contact pins shown in the following videos:
Anti-Pinch Pins:

Bonnet’s Pin:

Base’s Pin:

No need to take them out of the robot, we only need to see them from the outside.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

Hello,

my order number is: 1133956

The yellow light is flashing 1 time per second.

As I said, this is a recurring problem from the start, but it has now became very bad.

Regards,
Pierre-Alain

Hello @pacrutchet,

Thank you for your reply.

According to the pictures, the outside part of each pin looks clean.

However, it seems that the rest of the pins from inside the base look a bit dirty.

Have you tried to disassemble the base and take these pins out to clean them completely?

Also, does the globe wobble during the cycle causing the bonnet to move upwards?

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

Hello,

I have disassembled all the contacts and used a Scotch Brite on them. I’m not monitoring it for a week to see if it will get stuck again.

Regards,
Pierre-Alain

Hello @pacrutchet,

Thank you for your reply.

Very well, awaiting your feedback after a week.

Have a lovely day, stay safe.

Sincerely,

Hello,

after 2 months, the problem re-appeared, does this mean that the contacts need to be cleaned every 2 month ?

Regards,
Pierre-Alain

Hello @pacrutchet,

Thank you for your reply.

Actually, it’s recommended to clean the 3 sets of pins and the DFI sensor every 4-6 weeks to avoid any corrosion or damage to them.

Please clean them again and let us know if the issue remains.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,
