So my litter robot 3 shows full but it’s not, removed the tray pan, cleaned off the DFI sensor and both drawer sensors.
Ready light is flashing, pressing ready light again and cycle light flashes very fast at least 1-2 times per second.
Have taken it all apart, cleaned it thoroughly and power cycled the unit to no avail.
Unit is still in warranty, purchase September 21, 2020 with the extra 18 month warranty too
If the yellow light is blinking twice per second:
The Anti-Pinch safety feature is two pins connected to the motherboard that must touch each other continuously.
If they are separated, you will have an alarm(yellow blinking light). The Anti-Pinch safety is located in the top back left of the Litter-Robot base. You will need to unplug the unit, remove the bonnet, the globe and the drawer.
It is ‘‘Two Metal’’ pin. With a flashlight, you should be able to see if they are touching each other or not. If they are not touching each other, try to re-position it with a flat screwdriver by pushing them upwards.
So cleaned off the pins, removed them and slid them back in place, no change. Blue ready light flashing, press ready again and yellow/amber lights flashing fast 2 per second. Putting it all back together the blue light starts flashing right away, does not cycle.
