I have the Litter robot 3 and it is not working the correctly. The sensor to indicate that the bag is full sometimes is flashing even when I have just put an empty bag. Other times it works fine, so it is strange.
I would like to understand exactly how the sensor work to investigate why this is happening. And exactly where the sensor is located, to check if it gets stuck or something.
Thank you
Hello @Carmen ,
Welcome to RobotShop community.
We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.
Please provide us with your order number or a copy of the invoice.
You can try to clean the 2 green circuit boards and the 2 plastic brackets of the DFI sensor using isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip to remove any rust or dust from them.
This video will help you locate these parts:
We will also need to see the 3 pairs of contact pins shown in the following videos:
Anti-Pinch Pins:
Bonnet’s Pin:
Base’s Pin:
No need to take them out of the robot, we only need to see them from the outside.
Awaiting your reply.
Sincerely,
Now the blue light flashes, and when I push reset, the yellow light flashes fast. If I push reset, the blue light flashes again, so I cannot push the cycle button. Is there a way to manually cycle, like with a combination of buttons or something else?
