I have a litter Robot 3. I am having issues that occur constantly - shortly after the LR3 completes cycling, it will change to a red solid light indefinitely, even though there is no cat entry. This happens shortly after cycling (within 5 minutes). Because it is always in a constant red light - it does not detect when a cat actually enters and auto cycles. It only cycles if i press the cycle button, in which then the globe resets, and turns solid blue for a moment before turning back to a red solid light. Thus I have been needing to manually press the cycle button anytime i see the litter has been used. I’ve attached a video for reference. This video starts shortly after a cycle is completed. When i press “reset” nothing happens, and it remains with the red light.

Hi
I tried all possible solutions in the video. I still have the same issue where the red solid light appears.
I noticed that one of my white wires is spliced. Could this be a reason? My globe still rotates properly if I press cycle. My issue is that shortly after cycling, the solid blue light turns into a solid red light indefinitely.
Hi @joshdee125 ,
Thank you for the photo.
These does not look like wires that go to the cat sensor but in any case, it is not good that the wires are damaged.

Regarding the red light, you will need to replace the cat sensor.
