Litter Robot 3 Flashing blue light

Hi!
I am having a problem with my

Litter-Robot-3 (self-cleaning-litter-box)-with-18-month-extended-warranty

The blue light is flashing continually.
I have already followed all of the trouble shooting tips and carried out a reset with the tray in and tray out. None have worked.
The sensors are clean and the tray bag is well below the sensors.

Please help!!

Hello @Eskrimadiva ,

Welcome to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Please provide us with your order number or a copy of the invoice.

Have you tried to clean the 2 green circuit boards of the DFI sensor with isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip to remove any rust or dust from the small pins on them?

Here’s a video to help you locate these boards:

It’s also recommended to clean the Anti-Pinch pins with WD-40 and sandpaper while doing this.

If this didn’t help, the sensor will need to be replaced.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

Hi
Yes I have already cleaned both of those elements as the video says. Still no change.
I have emailed through to the support centre with my order no etc. My ticket no is (T767419).
(Ps…If you send out new parts, I am more than capable of fitting new DFI sensors and pinch pins myself  )
Kind regards
Alana

My order no is 1119049

Hello @Eskrimadiva ,

Thank you for your reply.

We have checked the ticket and it seems that my colleague has sent you a new DFI sensor.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Sincerely,

Hi
The blue light is flashing again on my litter robot 3.
I’ve taken it apart and cleaned it thoroughly and also cleaned the sensors as previously.
I’ve carried out all the reboot and reset sequences.
Please advise…

Hello @Eskrimadiva,

Welcome back to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

If the cleaning didn’t fix the issue, the DFI sensor will need to be replaced.

We can send you a new one under the warranty.

We will also need to see the 3 pairs of contact pins shown in the following videos:
Anti-Pinch Pins:

Bonnet’s Pin:

Base’s Pin:

No need to take them out of the robot, we only need to see them from the outside.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

I will send those photos tomorrow

Very well, awaiting your reply tomorrow.
