Litter Robot 3 Fast Yellow Flashing Light Error

Hi,

I have purchased Litter Robot 3 on April 2019 from robotshop. Yesterday, after I emptied the poop bin my unit stop turning. I have tried to turn it off and on, but it still does not turn. I have turn it off and wait for 5 minutes and when I turn it on it flash a slow blue indicator, and when I press the reset button it flashes a high-speed yellow indicator. I have read through the forum and tried to diagnose with multiple solutions provided, but it seems not able to work.

When I troubleshoot, I make sure to: Removed all the litter in the unit, the waste drawer is empty, the unit is sitting on even surface, not close to wall.

I am not sure if this relates to ‘yellow light is blinking twice per second’ which is the Anti-Pinch safety feature. I have cleaned the unit’s base and the anti-pitch feature (see image). After putting the unit back, it still show the same error.

It seems like the Anti-Pinch pins need to be replaced.

Thank you for the reply. I see now, the Anti-Pinch pins need to be replaced.

Can I ask what is the diagnostic symptom that shows it is time for the change? Is it by the fast yellow flashing?

Fast blinking yellow light and the rust on the pins.
