Litter robot 3 blue light problem - buttons don’t work

So what is literally going on:

  • blue light flashes quickly, bin is empty, bag does not stick up, sensors have been cleaned
  • ⁠we can no longer reset the bin (nothing happens)
  • ⁠when we turn it on and off it comes back on with a blue flashing light
    -the whisker app gives no error message and says everything is fine
  • And none of the buttons work, only the on/off

How can we solve this problem?

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

If the DFI sensor has been cleaned and the issue persists, the sensor will need to be replaced.

Please provide us with your order number to check if your warranty is still valid.

We will also need to see the 3 pairs of contact pins shown in the following video:

No need to take them out of the robot, we only need to see them from the outside.

We have replaced the bonnet today for a new bonnet and this doesn’t solve the problem.

I am looking forward to your solution.

If the blue light is blinking, the DFI sensor will need to be replaced.

According to the pictures, the pins are slightly damaged so we recommend replacing them.

We still haven’t received a reply regarding the status of the blue light, please confirm if the blue light blinks when you try to reset the yellow blinking light.

Hi there is no yellow light blinking.
Only a blue flashing light.

The buttons don’t work.

In this case, the DFI sensor and the 3 sets of pins will need to be replaced.
