Litter Robot 3. Blue flashing light reset then fash flashing yellow light

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description: My stud boy litter robot has started to play up as one of my other robots was recently.
Blue flashing light. Press reset it goes to fast flashing yellow.
The robot wont cycle, even if I switch it off for 10 seconds and on again.
I have cleaned all of the connector pins and circuit boards.

Troubleshooting steps already taken:
Cleaned sensors and pinch pins. Tried a hard reset. Removed bonnet and cleaned pins.
Disconnected power for 10 seconds with blue light on. Reconnected. Still not working or cycling.
Help!

Have you used isopropyl alcohol to clean the sensor?

Yes I have cleaned with isopropyl alcohol as you have suggested.

My fiance bought the robot for me last April/May. Unfortunately he didn’t keep the order details.

My litter robot serial number is:
LR3242083
I did another deep clean on it yesterday.
Cleaned all the connectors. (Bonnet and pinch), alcohol wiped the Dfi sensors and put it together again. Now its just flashing blue (fast). Won’t cycle. Won’t register an animal’s weight in it. Nothing :confused:

Anyone there??!

Hi, I am having the same problem again with this litter robot LR3242083.
Fast blue flashing light. If I turn off to reset it flashes yellow. It wont cycle at all.
I have cleaned the dfi sensors. They and the pins are clean. I’ve cleaned the hood connectors also.
I think the dfi’s have gone kaput.
Can I please have a new set under the warranty please.

Dfi sensors cleaned with ethanol, all connectorsnon bonnet and pins cleaned and still no change.
I have had this before with another robot so know I need new dfi sensors

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

If the cleaning didn’t fix the issue the DFI sensor would need to be replaced.

Please provide us with the order number for this robot to check its warranty.

We will also need to see the 3 pairs of contact pins shown in the following videos:
Anti-Pinch Pins:

Bonnet’s Pin:

Base’s Pin:

No need to take them out of the robot, we only need to see them from the outside.

One of these was sent to me twice previously and Inhave found them so much more reliable than the longer dfi
