Litter Robot 3 blinking blue light, nothing working

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description:
I recently bought a secondhand litter robot 3 for super cheap with plans on trying to fix it. It had a blinking blue light, but would still cycle when cycle button was pushed. I have since replaced the DFI sensor and corroded pinch terminals. Now when I power it on, it still has a blue flashing light, but none of the buttons do anything anymore. I followed the litter robot video tutorial for DFI kit and pinch terminals exactly, but its possible something went wrong somewhere. I took it apart and put it back together to be sure, to no avail. How should I further troubleshoot this? Are there any specific problems that would prevent it from functioning at all?

Hardware concerned:
DFI kit/pinch terminals

Software concerned:
N/A

Troubleshooting steps already taken:
Watched litter robot tutorial video for dfi kit and pinch terminals, replaced both.

Additional information:

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hello @Etregoning ,

Welcome to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Can you provide us with the order number for the DFI sensor you have bought?

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

It turns out I was using the wrong connector on the board. I used the same one he used in the video, but I guess I should have kept track of what connector I used when I disconnected it. All is well now, everything is working as it should.

Hello @Etregoning,

Thank you for your reply.

Very well, feel free to contact us again if you had any further issues.

Sincerely,
