Litter robot 3 bin keeps on filling up with litter

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description: My litter robot waste bin keeps on filling up with mostly litter each time it does a clean cycle. So after a cleaning cycle theres alot less litter in the actual globe and the bin keeps on filling up with mostly loose “clean” litter aswell as the lumps. I need to dump the waste bin 2 a day instead of 2 times a week (for two cats).

Troubleshooting steps already taken:
I’ve only been filling the litter up to the maximum fill line.
I am using the Cats best litter.

Additional information: It’s a brand new litter robot I started using it 1 day ago.

Hi @JMrobot2020 and welcome to our forum.

This usually is the issue with type of litter. Which exactly type are you using?

It is possible that particles of the litter you are using are not small enough to pass through sifting system so they end up in the waste drawer.

Oh ok that could be it. I’m using the Cats best original. What’s the best kind of litter to use?
