Litter robot 2, trying to salvage, yellow light solid, then flashing lights

Hi!
I was really fortunate to have a friend that had a LR-2 lying around. Upon receiving it, it was missing some parts. I perused RobotShop and got the power cable, drawer and some carbon filters. Upon plugging it in, it wouldn’t budge, no motor activity. The yellow light in the center of the console turns on and it won’t respond to anything. After a few minutes, all 3 leds blink. I did some troubleshooting, went through the simple guide to no avail. I ordered a motor with a few other supplies. Replaced the motor and continue to have the same problem. Now I’m thinking I need to get the wires sensor harness. Is this absolutely the next step? Is there anything else I need to do?
Thanks much for any advice.

Hi @Meihkl,

The new motor is not running at all?

What other things have you replaced beside the motor?

Hi @igor_X,
I checked all connections, adjusted the sensor as well as checked the safety line, inspected the circuit board and there were no apparent issues. As the lights turn on, I think the power and circuit board are working and I don’t need to check with a voltimeter. I didn’t replace other electrical components yet. I wonder if maybe the wires are corroded and the reason I’m thinking I need to replace the sensor harness.

Yes, you could try with sensor harness. I think there is not much left things to replace. But, at the end, it could be the circuit board :\

I bought a bunch of parts and it turns out it was the circuit board!! Works great now and I’m hoping I can return the unused other parts. Thanks so much for your input, you really helped a lot!
