I am confined to a power chair and am seriously considering the litter robot. Currently I have a Littermaid and am not happy. I am constantly attending it and find it too onerous for me. I have reviewed all of the literature and comments. I have a large cat and I think he will adapt to this. When reviewing your manual, it does not give the size of the waste ports. Bailey has good sized urine clumps and I want to make sure they go through. Also, he tends to spend a lot of time burying the waste and the litter ends up being pushed to one side which makes it difficult for the rake to go through it. Will this lop-sided litter be a problem?
Do you think that the care required would be too onerous for someoby confined to a chair? I can use my arms but just can’t walk . Also, it the refund period 30 or 60 days?

J’ai un litter robot depuis moins d’un an. Et présentement, j’ai remarqué que le Rubber lining à l’interieur ce déchire ou le joint des rivets. Je suis vraiment déçu…et ce n’est pas parce que le chat est gros, c’est une petit chatte de 8 lbs. On dirait plutot que c’est un problème de conception, puisque c’est le poid de la granule qu’elle doit retenir lors de la vidange qui la endommagé. Maintenant, je fais quoi??? encore dépenser 200$ pour des joints de rivet mal fait!!! J’ai payé 425$ il y a 1 an pour cette litière et maintenant faudrait que je déboursse encore 200$…ça fait chère par année honnêtement!!
The litter-robot is designed for big cats. We have not heard of any problems concerning the size of the waste ports. Several customers even have more than one cat. The waste ports are approximately 3.75 X 4 inches.
The litter-Robot needs to be emptied one to two times a week. You simply have to open the drawer on the bottom of the litter-robot and remove the bag with used wastes and place a new bag. It is difficult to determine if you will have problems or not. Although, we might say that it is similar to changing a garbage bag.
Since the **litter-robot **has a globe that rotates, it will not matter if the litter is all on one side.
The trial period for the litter robot is 60 days for a full refund minus the original shipping. It is also your responsibility to send us the litter-robot.
