My litter robot 2 motor started going very slowly and then quit all together. The circuit board lights up yellow for cycle but nothing happens. I ordered a replacement motor and put it in but still have the same problem. It’s like there’s no power getting to the motor at all but I’m not sure why. All the wiring looks ok as far as I can tell. Any ideas? I can’t spend $500 on a new one right now.
Hi @salth2obio !
You could check power supply adapter.
Are you still using original one?
If that is OK, I would suggest replacing circuit board.
Yes, it’s the original power supply but it’s definitely working. The thing worked fine until last week, motor was going very slow and then stopped all together so I replaced it and nothing. I’m considering replacing both the wiring harness and the circuit board at this point. I assume that will fix it regardless of the problem since there’s nothing left other than the plastic after that. Unless the replacement motor is bad.
Yes, do it like that. If you replace circuit board and wiring harness there is nothing left to be replaced. But, if it is still not working, you can claim the motor and you would get a new one (if we assume that that one you have is now faulty).
