The DFRobotShop Rover (RB-Rbo-33) already includes the tracks (RB-Tam-09) and motor (RB-Tam-01)
You need two headers per rover, so for 8 rovers, you’ll need 16x RB-Spa-631 (perhaps one spare)
If you are considering RB-Dfr-148, it seems you want wireless communication, and would need two XBee style wireless modules per rover. For example:

Last, you might want to take advantage of the onboard LiPo charger and get a LiPo battery for each rover:

This would make for a programmable robot or one which you could control wirelessly.
Note that the basic rover kit does not include any sensors - we wanted the price as low as possible.
It’s up to you which sensors you want to add.
