From the specs it appears the max charging current to battery on the lipo rider pro is 600mA.
Is it possible to adjust this?
I’d like to make 1A.
I’ve seen the resistor values to control output through the usb but no mention of the battery port.
Have I overlooked something?
It is theoretically possible to increase the charge current to 1A, but that would require modifying a resistor on the PCB and isn’t officially supported.
The resistor in question is labelled R4 (default 3.9kOhm) and needs to be adjusted based on this equation I_CH = (V_ISET / R_ISET) * 900 which was taken from the documentation of the CN3065 component.
Doing any modifications would be experimental and void the warranties, so you would have to do so at your own risk.
