I am now doing a robotic project.
I got all robotic motors ready and a PLC (Pananasonic) linked to my laptop for programming,
all of them were linked by cables.
I want the robot to be controlled by the program wireless.
So, what transmitter/reciever should I add to the whole system? and where should I add in?

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. What kind of cables are linking the system, regular RS-232 serial cables? If so then it is easy, all you need is a serial cable replacement. We can suggest Bluetooth for simplicity but you do have many options in the data telemetry section. An example setup would be:
Robot side: Bluetooth Modem - BlueSMiRF Gold
PC side: Bluetooth USB Module Mini
Note that you can also use RF, XBee or WiFi. You need to know what communication protocol your microcontroller accepts.
