Linear motor controlled by arduino

Hi all,
I need a linear motor that can be controlled by arduino.
I need something like “move the slider by 10 mm and stop there ( do not move till another command)”.

Does it fit my necessity?
If not, could you please suggest something useful?

Actuonix does offer Arduino compatible servos, however, the ones you mention aren’t. You should look for the -R and -I series. For example:
