Linear Actuators?

Hello All,

This is my very first post to this forum, and I have a question already

I am wondering if anyone ever made a quadro or a hexa using linear actuators instead of servos? I was browsing this forum and someone pointed out Firgelli’s new L12s.

I am considering using them for my first 3DOF walker because of the space preservation and their relatively light weight. I didn’t want to make my mind though without asking here.

If you could pull it off, yours would be the first. I’ve not seen anything built with those actuators, but lots of people have been talking about them for a long time now. Good luck.
