Linear actuators with potentiometer feedback

Hi, I want to control a linear actuator using a DMX system. Can anyone tell me if I can simply wire up a robotshop.com/en/2-stroke-firgelli-automation-12vdc–35lb-force-linear-actuators-w–pot-feedback.html
with a DMX motor controller like this: bpesolutions.com/bpemanuals/DMX-motor.pdf

The two seem to be compatible (current, voltage and potentiometer).
