Hello out there!
First… I have “zero” electronic background… but I need to control 12 VDC linear actuators to any position within their travel. A jog switch could be used to do that… “but”… I need to always know the actual resulting position of the actuator when it’s moved (which is not visible in my application).
What I envision… is a “Control Panel” which would have a rotary potentiometer on it and supporting electronics (hardwired) to a “linear actuator with a matching built in potentiometer”.
Rotating the Control Panel’s potentiometer would force the actuator to a corresponding position (VIA feedback from it’s own built in potentiometer). This setup would allow me to know the position of the actuator at all times by simply looking at the position of the potentiometer dial on the Control Panel.
Again… the actuators have built in potentiometers and are located at:

Can someone tell me if the controller located at:

… can be modified for my needs?
As it is… this controller can only be programmed to 3 actuator positions…
If the above is not possible…
Would someone be interested in building me a few suitable controllers?
If so… How much?
Thank you all for your time,
