I am trying to extend an internet connection without having to run wires. Can this unit do that, understanding I would probably need 2 of them?

Welcome to the forum! LoRa already offers a solution for long distance communications. Could you talk a little about the environment where you plan to do it? is it a closed place? or is it for mobile communications?

I am trying to provide internet service to a building that is about 300 feet (radio shack for amateur use) and it is a stand alone building with power and Wi-Fi is difficult at best at that distance. It would be considered a closed system.
I have tried a wifi booster and even tried a high end router at that end of the house. While I have signal to the remote location, it is weak and when using VNC, it is sluggish.
If this process won’t make it any better than I’ll just work on burying some ethernet cable and making a run to that location and then set up a router for use that way.
Well, it’s certainly very complicated from what I see. It would probably be better to make small ethernet connections as you suggest, from one router to the other. Sorry I couldn’t help you with other ideas.
