I know this is an older thread, but I’m still catching up…
I gave up on trying to cut thin plastic with a jigsaw. I have much better results using a cutting disk with my Dremel rotary tool. Since it’s spinning, it makes completely smooth, straight lines. With the jigsaw, the plastic is too flexy so it kinda jumps up and down with the motion of the jigsaw blade.
