In the past 3 weeks my Lavviebot started to notify waste full a few times, every day, even if the waste draw is completely empty. Sometimes the waste full light remain on and sometimes it goes back off.
The distance sensor was changed at the end of August, so it is new. The sensor is clean and nothing stays in its way.
What can I do about it?
Hi @mihaela_agh ,
Maybe this simple guide can help you for start:
If not, I would take a close photos of distance sensor PCBs to see if there are any damages there.
Also, unplugging robot for several hours could do a reset and help in some situations.
Let us know the result.
Check if the waste drawer is seated properly in its slot. It can trigger the “waste full” alert if it is slightly misaligned.
Hi @igor_X , @embeddedbarsha
I tried all you proposed and did not worked. The notification is still coming, randomly. I took photos of the distance sensors and I do not see anything inside. Maybe you can.
Thank you!
Hi @mihaela_agh ,
Thank you for the photos.
Maybe the cable connecting these sensors to the main board is loose.
Maybe you can check this with the help of this video:
Hi @igor_X ,
Thank you for the video and your suggestion. I tried this today and it didn’t work. After a couple of hours after the waste full led did go on again and the app sent me a notification.
Is there something else I could try?
Thank you!
Hi @mihaela_agh ,
Maybe you can try Distance sensor calibration.
Please follow the instructions below and proceed with calibration.
Download P.Manager on your mobile device and log in with the following account. Please note that they will be available only for 24HR after logging in.

*Select Distance sensor calibration and follow instructions (not motor calibration)
Hi @igor_X ,
thank you so much for your help.
I will be able to do what you have suggested at the end of next week.
I will let you know how it worked.
Thank you again!
You are welcome.
I hope it will work
Hi @igor_X ,
just to make it clear - the litter tray must be empty for the distance sensor calibration, right?
Thanks!
Yes, I think so. But probably you would get instructions on the screen once you click on Calibrate distance sensor.
Hi @igor_X ,
I did the calibration but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I am still getting waste full notification at least twice a day.
Do you have any other ideas? Thank you!
Hi @mihaela_agh ,
No, I don’t have any other recommendations except replacing the distance sensor.
Hi @igor_X ,
ok. I suppose there is no other way, even if there are only 3 months since I replaced it. Please direct me to your colleague in order to buy it.
Thank you!
Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hi @mihaela_agh ,
We will forward this request to our RMA department.
They will contact you regarding next steps.
Thank you.
