Yes, but you need a wireless router and the LAN board to make it work. Or am I missing something?

I’m not sure how useful a LAN Module is on a 'bot.

The ethernet shield is not necessairly a LAN device. All I have to do is foward incommng traffic from my router to my arduino and you can control it from a web page on your desktop. Using no-ip.com makes it simple. Probably best to start a new discussion somewhere else as this may not the to-do topic.

If video is desired from the bot, I’d use a high power wireless router with the ethernet shield arduino and an IP cam attached. If video is not important, then solutions like the blackwidow (bottom) and the xbees could be used. If you haven’t visited the new and old arduino forums (below), you should check them out for many hours (maybe days) of reading on wireless setups.
