Will a L3GD20H 3-Axis Gyro Carrier with Voltage Regulator work with the RFRobotShop Mini Rover Mobile Smartphone (robot)?

RobotShop carried it as RB-Pol-236. It uses either I2C or SPI for communication

The Rover uses an Arduino Uno (which offers I2C) via analog pins A4 (SDA) and A5 (SCL):

The DFRobotShop shield does not use either of these, so as far as pinout goes, the sensor is compatible.
The only issue will be wiring from the sensor to the shield and where to place it.
